When most people think of Indian food, they think of the same handful of dishes, the ones that made it onto Western menus decades ago and never left. But India has 28 states and as many distinct food cultures, and most of them are completely invisible here. Bihar is one of them.
Join us for a ticketed 4-course meal prepared by Chef Meghna Agarwal of Crimson Kitchen for this magical evening.
Meghna's mother's family is from Bihar, and this is the home cooking she grew up eating: bold, mustard-forward, and unapologetic. The kind of food that transforms simple ingredients — potatoes, chickpeas, flour — into something deeply nurturing.
