Sunday Supper: A Turkish Meyhane Table

Join Chef Gizem Aldana of Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye — a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy — for a ticketed meyhane-style dinner: an Anatolian tradition where mezes stay on the table throughout the meal for lingering, sharing, and long conversation.

Cold and warm mezes include köpoğlu (eggplant over strained yogurt), muhammara (roasted red peppers with walnuts and pomegranate molasses), and cheese börek, followed family-style by Afyon Tandır — beef slow-cooked for hours over buttery carrot rice pilaf. Vegetarian option available.
